Gardening Scheme 2023
Huntington Parish Council launched its Community Gardening Scheme in 2007. In 2022 we were once again able to assist elderly and disabled residents with their grass cutting and hedge trimming, this service is no longer over subscribed and there is a small number of slots on the list.
Residents have been delighted with their Community Gardener and work has been carried out to an exceptionally high standard.
GARDENING SCHEME 2023
Huntington Parish Council is able to offer assistance to certain residents with garden maintenance.
The scheme will be limited to those residents who are genuinely unable to manage their grass cutting or hedge trimming. If you wish to be considered for this scheme please complete an application form and return it to the Parish Clerk (clerk@huntington-pc.gov.uk)
Because of the high demand for this service, we will be limiting the number of applicants on the scheme. This will operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, so early return of your application form is essential. This decision was taken to ensure that the quality of the work undertaken remains at a high standard.
You are reminded that the work undertaken by the gardeners is limited to grass-cutting and hedge-trimming only.
